The TNC shareholder department coordinates the management of shareholder stock, database records, files, shareholder hire, special events, and researching and developing programs for the benefit of shareholders.
We invite you to stop by the office for access to all Shareholder forms, or give us a call at 907-272-0707 or toll-free from within Alaska at 1-877-TNC-MOOS (862-6667). Notary services are available at the Tyonek office.
Shareholder Programs
- Shareholder Career / Intern Opportunities - TNC and its subsidiaries fall under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) and is entitled under Federal Law to extend hiring and training preferences to its shareholders. ANCSA provides TNC the authority to give shareholder preference in hiring. Shareholders interested in applying for an Intership may complete the Intern Application and forward to Human Resources. - Scholarships and Other Benefit Programs - TNC's shareholder scholarship program is managed by The CIRI Foundation (TCF). Application deadlines are June 1 and December 1. Scholarships may be granted up to $1000 per student per semester, and you must reapply each semester.. Visit the CIRI Foundation's website "Scholarship & Education Grants" to access the application form.
Vocational training grants are also available up to $1500 per year, and deadlines are quarterly (3/31, 6/30, 9/30, and 12/1).
- Community & Cultural Donations Program - TNC has established a Cultural & Community Donations program to assist with community and cultural special needs. There are four application deadlines per year: March 30, June 30, Sept 30 and Dec 30. The committee generally meets within 30 days following the above application deadlines, and reviews the applications.
