The salmon project helped TTCD highlight the Robert's Creek culvert replacement, our biggest project replacement yet. Tyonek Youth Leader is Recognized by AFN

Trinity Standifer is awarded the 2014 Alaska Federation of Natives Lu Young Youth Leadership Award at the October, 2014 Convention in Anchorage.  At age 15, she puts much time into community service and always finds new friends. Being an older sister with 5 young siblings, she finds helping people is just what she enjoys doing.  She has been recognized for several awards:  2014 Tyonek Youth of the Year award; CIRI 2014 Youth Leadership Award and the 2014 Spirit of Youth Service to Children Award. Trinity is a natural leader who is planning to attend college to possibly become an attorney.  She is already planning to take her SAT tests as part of the college admissions process.
