Tyonek Aircraft Overhaul, LLC Secures Contract with U.S. Coast Guard for Voice and Flight Data Recorder Replacement

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Oct. 10, 2024 – Tyonek Aircraft Overhaul, LLC, a subsidiary of Tyonek Services Group, Inc. and Tyonek Native Corporation, has been awarded a contract by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) for the provision of replacement voice and flight data recorder (VFDR) units for the MH-65E and MH-60T aircraft. This contract also includes training and engineering support services to ensure seamless integration and operation of the new VFDR units within the USCG’s fleet.

The award is structured as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a total ceiling value of $16.8M. The initial order for the base year is valued at $3.6M, covering the immediate needs for VFDR replacements and associated support services.
